March :: While the first month of spring is upon us, there is still plenty of slushy snow about! a few more weeks of this leftover snow. At the rate it's melting, we'll be trodding through mud in no time! It's still nippy out there, so don't get too excited to get out of those winter clothes yet

UPDATE! June 11, 2013 :: Hello everyone! It's lovely to see all these new watchers interested in joining our group! We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their vacations, if any of you are on them at the moment. Also, Animal Crossing:New Leaf has been released in North America, as you all know! Just a few more days, Europe and Australia! Hold on out until the end, because it will be well worth it! As a group, us Moderators have some news to share with you all so that you are aware of what is going on as of currently...
As you all know, the previous re-opening and accepting for new members was June 20th, but lots of bumps and hurdles have been thrown into the mods lives during these past months (moving, broken computers, family emergencies, etc.), and so
we regret to inform you that we will be pushing our opening date back to July 12, 2013 instead. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we want to make sure that everything we need done
is done and good to go instead of floundering with half-arsed information and new features. We want to make everything perfect for YOU! If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask! Our mods and perhaps helpful members will try to respond ASAP if it is not something that can be answered via our journals.
Another thing we'd like to announce is that with the release of New Leaf, we have decided to take Pokette Town for quite the spin in it's revamp! This means lots of new features, a new town map, and much more! But of course, it will take the helping hands and hard work of the citizens of Pokette to turn things around. We want to give everyone's character a fresh, new leaf on life
see what we did there? Ohohoho~, so we hope that many of you are looking forward to these new features in store! Many that have been suggested by wonderful members or watchers. We would like to thank you for your great ideas and feedback so far! Please, keep it coming!
Most of the new, revamped information will be posted and released on the week of our opening. We hope you are all looking forward to it! Thank you for being wonderful, understanding individuals.
March 20, 2013 :: HIATUS/REVAMP SOON. PLEASE READ
It has come to the mod team's attention that many of our members, present, former, and so forth, are unhappy with the group and the way it is running as of currently. Many thanks to our dear member =

[link]We would just like to say that we are sorry that you all feel this way, and in order to remedy this, we will be placing #
PKMN-Crossing on a official group hiatus as of
March 31, 2012. At that date, we will close submissions, will not be hosting monthly events (though we will continue to post birthdays), and will not be looking over private applications so that the moderation team may focus on what needs to be done. We do not plan on shutting the group down at all, no. We just wish to really give the group a good, clean scrubbing of all the grime that has built up over it's time here as a group, and refresh it back down to what it's original idea was meant to be when it was first founded: simple and clean, good fun.
To kick off the re-construction of the group, we are, as of right now, allowing visitors into the Main PKMC Chatroom. This means that you do not have to be a member of the group to join in and chit chat with people who are currently members. Visitors will also be allowed to access the RP Chatroom as well, but will not be able to post as to not disturb the roleplays that may be taking place at the time. They will only be allowed to watch.
In the oncoming weeks ahead of us, the group will be heavily under re-construction from the ground up. Many blogs will be deleted and rehashed to make everything better to find and follow. Our current system will be diced and sliced, redone, to make it as simple as it used to be before things took a turn for the worst and made it difficult. Second characters will be made easier to earn and obtain. NPC's will be redone and more will be added. Visual changes will take place once the complete system overhaul and blogs are redone, to make way for the newest Animal Crossing game features. This does mean that certain upgrades will be deleted or reset, as Pokette Town will be changing it's whole look and set up. For those who have donated more than 20,000 Bells to the Town Improvement Fund at any given point, you will be receiving a 50,000 Bell refund once the hiatus takes place. After the hiatus is over, we will be happy to announce that the group will no longer be private, and public openings will take place every few months once more.
Please do note that all of this is a ton of work on the mod team, and it will most likely be a few weeks (a month or 2) before we re-launch the group. Regardless, we will be sure to update everyone either by this journal or polls on the process that takes place. Quite basically, a lot will be happening to redo the group and return it to it's roots. If you would like to leave your feedback, ideas, comments, suggestions, and so forth on how to make the group better in it's hiatus/revamping period, please refer to the journal entry here and leave us your thoughts:
