EVENTS AND BIRTHDAYS LIST
CALENDER EVENTS Here is a visual calendar of events that may take place throughout the year. These events can be played out in many different ways, and are usually posted on the Bulletin Board blog. Many of these events run on real time, in real life, and are taken from various Animal Crossing games. Not all of the events may take place. If you would like to suggest a public event to be added to the calender, please note the group to have the idea discussed.

FEBRUARY / WINTER
Winter :: Igloo Season :: Residents around town begin to build igloos that are surprisingly warm inside. Feel free to drop on by one and hang out with friends.
Winter :: Contest Hall :: Every month a new contest is hosted at the Contest Hall for all the town residents to participate in. It's a monthly art contest with a theme, and you could be the top pro to win a ribbon if you've got the skills to be the very best!
2nd :: Groundhog Day :: Today's the day to find out if spring is on it's way, or if winter will reign. Rumor has it that a groundhog-like pokemon makes his way to town to deliver the news to everyone. Remember: if he sees his shadow, winter is here to stay for 6 more weeks!
6th - 10th :: Bright Nights :: A tradition that has turned into a competition in recent years, residents decorate their houses with elaborate light shows and try to see who has the best, most brightest house in Pokette toen!
14th - 15th :: Valentines Day :: The holiday where couples are absolutely ooey gooey over each other, and singles dread this day of supposed love. Be sure to spread the love to everyone in town, not just your beloved sweet hearts! Share candies, send cards, and have romantic or friendly dates with others.
18th :: Fishing Tourney :: Everybody get your fishing poles ready, because Chip the Bibarel is in town to host the fishing tourney! Catch the biggest or rarest fish out there and win a shiny golden trophy!
23rd - 25th :: Los Festivales: A festival (Mardi Gras/Carnavle) made to celebrate the coming of the warm spring weather. A festive and bright, supposedly "legendary" dancer makes his way to town to spread the colorful cheer! Dress up, dance, sing, and party the nights away!
MARCH / SPRING

4th - 10th :: Medieval Fair: Spring has come and so have the olde faires of the past! The town blasts to the past of medieval times. Dress up and act as a princess, a knight, a mere villager, even a dragon! Spend your days enjoying the faire. But be warned: a supposed "war" is going on between waging sides with the colors of white and red...
17th :: St. Patrick's Day :: Spring has been good to all in Pokette Town, so we celebrate St. Patrick's Day, or better known as "Green Day" around these parts with some good ol' fashioned company with friends and family. Enjoy a drink, story telling, and the fields of clover popping up about town. No alcohol for the kiddies though!
20th - 21st :: Sports Fair
APRIL / SPRING

1st :: April Fool's Day :: Today's the day of jokes, pranks, and other mischief. As today is the day for fools to rejoice and play; it's April Fools Day!
5th - 7th :: Cherry Blossom Festival :: There is a special, small amount of time in the year when all the trees in Pokette Town burst into beautiful pink flower petals that waft through the air. The scent is sweet, the view is beautiful, and everyone enjoys watching the event for the few days it's here! Have picnic's with friends, enjoy the sights, and have fun at the Cherry Blossom festival!
22nd :: Nature Day :: Today is a day we should give back to the earth and appreciate all it gives us. Get out there into the sunshine and plant some new berry trees, flowers, and pick up litter around town.
27th - 29th :: Easter Day :: On this beautiful spring day we celebrate the miracle of Easter! It seems the Easter Bunny Zipper T. has hopped his way into town to hide eggs everywhere! Looks like a good old egg hunt is going on. Get out there and hunt those eggs! Zipper T. claims you'll never find them though; prove him wrong!
MAY / SPRING

1st :: Spring Cleaning :: With the fresh spring season currently underway, spring cleaning is needed as well! Be sure to sweep out all that dusty junk out of the house that had accumulated over the cold of winter! Be careful... you might just find a roach or 2 as well... *Shudders*
2nd Sunday :: Mother's Day :: Today is the one day of the year where all Moms in the world should be allowed a break from their daily hard work and be lavished in love. Appreciate your mother today!
14th - 18th :: Flower Fest :: "April Showers bring May Flowers" is the saying that holds true! May has burst into bloom with colorful flowers, and to celebrate the Flower Festival takes place. There's even a garden competition for all you skilled dirt diggin', plant carin' sort of folks!
JUNE / SUMMER
Summer :: Camping Season :: Residents around town begin to head out of their houses and camp out in tents! Feel free to drop on by one and hang out with friends, stargaze, roast marshmallows, and do other summery things!

2nd :: Graduation Day :: School is done for the summer time! Everyone who has attended school has now graduated to the next grade, or is completely done and are ready to start their adult lives in the world. Congratulations to all of you hard working graduates!

30th :: Job Fair :: Today is a day where Pokette Towns' residents show off their skills in their selected job fields, and what they do for a living! Are you a jobless hobo? Now might be your chance to snag some good ol' fashioned hard work!

8th :: Founders Day :: Today is the day that Pokette Town was created from the ground up! Without our precious founder, this town wouldn't exist! Let us show our love and appreciation for the person that decided to create this place we call home, in the very spot which we currently stand!

21st :: Morning Aerobics :: Rise and shine early birds! Pokette Towns' Guards Copper and Booker are instructing a relaxing and fun aerobis warm up! Go on out and get those limbs limber!
25th - 29th :: Beach Fest :: It's the middle of summer, and the weather is hot hot HOT!! Time to don your swim gear and pull out the suntan lotion, because it's Beach Fest! Get out onto Pokette's sandy, warm shores and boogie with fun in the sun!
30th :: Hometown Day :: All of us here in Pokette Town came from somewhere else at some point in our lives, and sometimes it's good to remember where we originated from and go back to that for good ol' memories sake. It's Hometown Day! Pack a suitcase and head on home for a few days to visit your folks and old friends.
AUGUST / SUMMER

12th - 13th :: Meteor Shower :: During the last month of summer when the sky is clear and twinkling full of stars, meteors start to fall towards earth in a brilliant display of streaks across the sky. Most people call these falling asteroids "falling stars" and it's of a popular tradition to make a wish on them! Join us at the large pond and watch these beauties shoot across the sky!

SEPTEMBER / AUTUMN

1st Monday :: Labor Day :: A small, quiet little extra day off tacked on to the weekend. For those who work long and hard to rest their achy bodies and simply relax.

OCTOBER / AUTUMN

7th :: Explorer's Day :: A day dedicated to explorers, far and wide! There are all kinds of things that could be explored both in and out of Pokette Town. Get on out there and take a look around!
8th - 12th :: Acorn Festival :: The trees grow heavy with Seedots that seem to drop from the trees and run about! A odd man named Cornimer who is passing by will usually pay a pretty bell for these pokemon if you collect them. Go on out there and catch those acorns!
15th  - 19th :: Mushrooming Season :: The autumn season has grown moist, and mushrooms spring out everywhere! Tom Zook the Zigzagoon pays a pretty bell for such pokemon like Paras, Parasect, and other fungus-themed pokemon. Go on out there and collect those mushrooms!

30th - 31st :: Halloween :: The time of year where everyone dresses up in costumes, plays scary spooks and pranks, and trick-or-treats for colorful candies! Rumor has it that a creepy stranger comes to town, demanding candy from unsuspecting residents...
NOVEMBER / AUTUMN

1st - 2nd :: Day of the Dead :: Days used to honor the spirits of those who have passed on. Something strange goes on in town that seems to affect the ghost-type pokemon residents as well...
6th :: Mayor's Day :: A day dedicated to honor our good ol' Mayor, Torkomer the Torkoal!
11th :: Officer's Day :: A day dedicated to the hard working, protective Town Guards Booker the Granbull and Copper the Mightyena!

21st - 22nd :: Harvest Festival :: A holiday where everyone gives thanks for what and whom they have in their lives. Mayor Torkomer hosts a giant dinner party and has supposedly invited a "special guest" of sorts... but this so called "guest of honor" wants nothing to do with being dinner!
23rd :: Sale Day :: A day where Tom Zook the Zigzagoon puts everything in his shop on sale! Have the chance to enter the raffle and maybe win a rare prize!
DECEMBER / WINTER

Winter :: Gift Exchange :: PKMC's Secret Santa event. Everyone who joins in is paired up with other members, and you have to draw them gift art of what they wish for. It's a fun time for giving!

1st :: Snow Day :: Today is rumored to be the day when winter truly blows into town, and brings a good amount of snow with it! Will it snow, or will it be late? We'll have to wait and watch the sky to see...
23rd - 24th :: Toy Day Eve :: A Holiday where everyone is waiting for that rumored Santa, Jingle the Stantler, to make his way into town and deliver gifts of delight to all! It's also where others exchange gifts as well! No opening presents until Toy Day though!
25th - 26th :: Toy Day :: The Holiday following after Toy Day Eve. Jingle the Stantler has delivered all the presents to the good residents of town in a matter of one night, and everyone is awake and bursting into their wrapped gifts to see what they've received from friends and family.
30th - 31st :: New Years Eve :: It's time to say goodbye to the past year, and time to ring in the coming of the new year! Celebrate with fireworks, friends, and food and welcome the next year with a huge countdown clock at the Town Hall!
