Biography:

My Comic shown to Toys For BobI've been hearing from people telling me that I should show my work to Activision. Well, I've taken this to consideration. Now, I never thought of showing my art work to the publisher, but I did show work to Toys For Bob. Mainly, Alex Ness. I sent him an e-mail of what it is to be a fan and what they thought of my comic. Below is the e-mail sent and the e-mail received.
SENT - Hello, Toys For Bob!
I just wanted to show you my comic because I have great interest in the world of Skylanders. I enjoy making comic books and strips out of Skylanders. However, I've not bought a single toy or game simply because my wallet said so. My friends feel I'm not really a fan if I never supported the franchise by refusing to buy there products. Am I still considered a fan of this franchise? Wouldn't making fan art be a cheaper and better way of showing love and support for a franchise? Anyway, keep up the good work! Hope you continue to succeed. In the meantime, I will conitnue my comic.

I have a character that I entered into the Harvest-Pokemoon group, but they rejected it saying that it was not a Gijinka but a Anthrotrough (Sorry if I spelled it wrong...). Would it be okay if I changed her story a bit to be appropriate for the PKMN-Crossing group and apply her in the next opening? I wouldn't normally do this but I REALLY like her character and don't want it to go to waste! I also may just enter an entirerly new pokemon but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks and sorry for being a bother! ^^;

Oops, sorry for the late reply. As far as your query goes, I don't see why not. :) She's your character, after all. You're free to do what you like with her, and we don't have any rules against using recycled characters. As long as the finished application falls within the boundaries of the rules, there should be no reason why you can't try out with her. Whatever you decide, good luck!
